Afterwork #1

The State of Mobile

March 24, Quartier Papier

SOON AVAILABLE
Ten years ago, we embarked on an inspiring journey. After we launched in 2010, we were at the forefront of the mobile revolution. Now, 400 mobile applications later, it’s time to look back. At the first Shift afterwork edition of the year, on March 24 at 16h in Papier Quartier, we’ll focus on the State of Mobile. We share the things we’ve learned and we look forward to the next decade of mobile development. We’re joined by KBC, the Belgian bank with a leading all-in-one mobile strategy.
Shift is a boutique conference by Digital Product Studio In The Pocket.

18h30: Panel Discussion: Can PWAs replace Mobile Apps?

Everyone

Even before mobile apps were a thing, the mobile web was considered to be the “next big thing”. Ever since their introduction, they’ve been regarded as a temporary phenomenon, that would disappear once “mobile web would be mature”. Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) are armed with the latest generation of web technology: are the days of having an app in the App Store numbered?
